Vision Board + Explanation
My vision board explains most of my dreams and goals I wish to achieve in the future, and the six mentors I want to meet or become.
Some of my dreams/goals include traveling to countries like Japan and Hawaii, becoming a parent, learning foreign languages, playing the piano and guitar successfully, being able to draw professionally and becoming a scientist or chemist.
My first mentor is my mother. She inspires me to learn languages and learn how to cook. She’s knows four languages in total- Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese and little of English. That’s why I decided to learn eight in the future! Double of what she knows, though it doesn’t seem possible for now. My mom is a great cook as well. She can make Vietnamese dishes, Chinese dishes and even curry!
Second, is Mark Crilley. He is an illustrator, author and a comic creator who inspires me to draw. Crilley can basically draw anything. From manga to dragons, from buildings to realism. There are many tutorials he created to teach people how to draw on Youtube. He has so much talent! I am immensely jealous of his artistic ability.
Third, is Arina Tanemura. She also inspires me to draw but specifically manga. Tanemura-san is a Japanese manga artist and author. Usually, she writes her stories and draws the manga as well. I love her style of art because she makes every character attractive with the big eyes, even for the males too. The stories that she writes are always amazing. I would be satisfied if I can have half of her skills.
Fourth, is Kim Taeyeon. She is a leader of one of Asia’s most popular South Korean girl group. She is an amazing singer and she inspires me to sing. Singing is one of my passions. Taeyeon is not just the leader because of her age nor her voice, but she has the qualities of being a great leader. For six years, she is able to keep all the members of nine in total, unified as one.
Fifth, is Amuro Namie. A Japanese singer, she inspires me to sing as well. So far, Namie-san’s career have lasted over a decade and is still ongoing. She has received the title of “Queen of J-pop”, making her popularity grow even more. She is known for having a great voice and holding the record of being on the Oricon Top 10 chart hits for 13 consecutive years.
My final mentor is Marie Curie, who is already dead in the 1900s. She was a chemist and physicist. Curie discovered three elements; Radium, Curium and Polonium. Because of the discovery of these elements, she was the first female to receive a Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Later, she received another one in physics. Curie inspires me to become a chemist.
My dreams/goals may or may not stay consistent, but my mentors will.

Career Cruising
What is career cruising? It's a great website for you to take a look at the different careers there are that exist today and you can find out your career suggestions by answering questions. Out of my top ten results, two of the careers match what I probably want to be! That is a chemist and a translator. Most of these careers listed below are involved in science..........I might decide to go into the science field but I'm still not sure. Out of biology, chemistry and physics, I like chemistry the best for sure! Like, who doesn't want to learn about the Periodic Table of Elements??!!! In middle school, I wanted to become a cartoonist, an artist or an animator because I really love paint and draw anime characters. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of patience and I take a ridiculous amount of time to finish an artwork. Anyways, if you want to see your career interest rank, go to http://public.careercruising.com/ca/en
